Terribl Games
Terribl Games originally came from the idea of trying to make a game out of the worst imaginable concept. We aim to bring you unique and original experiences, even if they sometimes come from terrible ideas.

Bureau of Compliance
Congratulations, you just landed a new job at the Bureau of Compliance. Your task: approve or deny permit requests based on applicable regulations. It's really that easy! Until it isn't...
BoC's core idea came from wanting to force my siblings to play the worst game I could come up with. With each iteration, I wanted to make the game more replayable, to force upon them the ordeal of having to play it again.
They gave me feedback about how the game made them feel like the worst part of being a work, along with annecdotes about another aspect of their jobs which was annoying them: so I'd try to implement those ideas as new game mechanics.
Slowly but surely, the game became more complete and actually enjoyable for a very particular kind of people. If you enjoy laughing at bureaucratic nonsense, this game turned out to be a lot of fun!
You are hired at the Bureau of Compliance. Your job is to approve or deny permits according to simple regulations. You approve one permit per day of the week, and each day a new regulation is added.
The game has 10 levels (10 weeks), with levels 11+ adding two regulations per day from the entire pool of 500+ regulations. Each week is designed to have its own kind of regulations, increasing the game's difficulty very quickly from one week to the next.
You only receive feedback on your performance weekly, where you earn XP and money for your correct decisions.
Five mistakes and it's game over. While you keep your accumulated XP and may unlock new perks at the end of your employment run, your earned money is lost.
There are approximately a dozen perks to unlock, which will help you get further into the game.
